Newcastle-based strategic marketing company, Horizonworks Marketing, has appointed Jen Dugdale to boost its growing team.
Jen joins the team of seven at an exciting time as the company has recently moved into larger premises in the centre of Newcastle at the i6 enterprise centre on Charlotte Square. The move and recruitment drive comes as the demand for flexible, strategic marketing support increases and the client base expands at Horizonworks Marketing.
Appointed as a marketing account manager, Jen has over six years’ experience in a variety of in-house marketing roles for both public and private sector organisations. Most recently Jen was involved in the marketing of a local government programme which encouraged and supported enterprise throughout County Durham.
Before this Jen worked in marketing management positions for one of the largest UK resellers of voice and data services and a leading golf holiday tour operator. In her various roles she has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of marketing, making her the perfect addition to the Horizonworks Marketing team.
Horizonworks Marketing was established in 2010 and specialises in providing strategic marketing services to a range of businesses from the science, technology, healthcare and service sectors. The company’s unique offering is providing a fully outsourced marketing service to businesses without an internal marketing department and providing them with all the benefits of a full time marketing team.
Their client base includes universities, energy, science and healthcare companies, as well as service sector companies including recent account win, David Gray Solicitors LLP.
Jen Dugdale, comments: “I am really pleased to join Horizonworks Marketing at this very exciting time. The company has grown significantly over the last couple of years, attracting some really interesting, high profile clients and I look forward to applying my experience and knowledge to help the company reach its future goals.”
“It is a very fast-paced environment and I am excited about the challenges ahead, I believe Horizonworks Marketing’s unique offering to marketing is what sets us apart.”
As account manager, Jen is responsible for a wide range of client focussed marketing activities including campaigns, branding, PR, web development and market research.
Samantha Davidson, managing director at Horizonworks Marketing, explains: “I am pleased to welcome Jen to the team and I am sure that she will become an invaluable member of our team. We recruit professionals that have worked within in-house marketing departments as they understand truly how a marketing team operates. Jen’s skills and experience will strengthen our team and proposition in the market as a leading outsourced marketing provider.”
“Jen’s appointment will allow us to develop the business further and provide our clients with an exceptional marketing service”, she adds.
