Gas Trade Centre awarded for their Excellence in Customer Service

Horizonworks Marketing’s client, the Gas Trade Centre, scooped the award for Excellence in Customer Service at the regional STEP Business Awards last week.

The South Tyneside Enterprise Partnership (STEP) Business Awards celebrate the success of local entrepreneurs and businesses, as well as encouraging and inspiring others.

Nominated by Horizonworks Marketing, the Gas Trade Centre was awarded the Excellence in Customer Service Award, which was the most subscribed category. The award recognises how businesses have effectively embedded excellent customer service in all areas of their business. The Gas Trade Centre had to demonstrate the outcome of their excellent customer service, not just to their customers but on their organisation as a whole.

The Gas Trade Centre, established in 1972, is recognised as one of the leading independent boiler specialists in the North East of England. They work with regional housing associations, national insurance companies and home-owners in delivering a high quality repair, maintenance and installation service.

The company prides itself on their commitment to customer service providing a fast and efficient service and taking a highly professional approach in their work. Their goal is to make the process of completing a repair for their customers as painless as possible, from first contact to job completion, with the minimum of disruption.

The Gas Trade Centre conducts a range of activities aimed at doing this from their personal and friendly approach to implementing better IT systems and quality controls to make their work flow faster and more efficient for the end customer.
