Marketing Partner to Newcastle Science City

Just 4 weeks into trading and Horizonworks Marketing was successful in winning the Newcastle Science City (NSC) marketing services tender.

Up against a number of top regional and national marketing agencies, Horizonworks Marketing was one of eight suppliers appointed to deliver a range of marketing services to NSC's start-up companies and existing SME's from the science and technology sector across Newcastle upon Tyne.

NSC's vision is to enhance prosperity from science in Newcastle. It aims to capitalise on the world class scientific research being conducted in Newcastle for the economic and social benefit of the City, and to create an environment that enables science and business to work effectively together. One of its objectives is to create and support around 40 start-ups over the next two years.

One of the core deliverables for the marketing partners is to help NSC in accelerating the creation of new businesses by providing a range of marketing services for these companies ranging from consultation on their marketing strategy and plans to developing their branding and marketing materials.
