Healthcare Marketing Specialist Expands Team

Horizonworks Marketing has appointed Gaia Hudson to boost their growing team.

Gaia joins Horizonworks Marketing at an exciting time in its growth, as we have recently moved into new offices in the centre of Newcastle.  She has come on board as a Marketing Account Manager, with 5 years experience in sales and marketing including most recently working in the European sales department of a market leading clothing brand.

Horizonworks Marketing provides strategic marketing and PR services for predominantly science, technology and healthcare companies across the North East such as Newcastle Science City, Northumbria University’s Nurture programme, regeNer8, Easibathe and Easiaccess.

An Edinburgh Napier University graduate, Gaia moved to the region in 2006 and has since taken on many exciting roles within a variety of market sectors. Her most recent role was within the European Sales department for motocross clothing brand Fox, where she was responsible for direct sales to Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg).

Before Fox Gaia worked with founder of Horizonworks Marketing, Samantha Davidson, at Cels, the North East based centre of excellence for life sciences.  Here she built up expertise in providing specialist marketing to the healthcare, science and technology sector across the North East.

At Horizonworks Marketing, Gaia's role is Marketing Account Manager and is responsible for a wide range of marketing activities to service client accounts.

Samantha set up Horizonworks Marketing in March 2010 having over 12 years experience working in strategic marketing and senior management roles for both public and private companies including Dickinson Dees, Northumbria University and the Centre of Excellence for Life Sciences (Cels).
